I think we are the only ones in the group from the southern hemisphere, but there were a couple of members who stuck around to support me through our winter (thanks blueviolet).
Have you been to see a doctor about it? If not, that may be a good idea, although depending where you are in the country, a lot of doctors still haven't heard of SAD. You sound like you have good friends by your side though.
I would also reccommend the book "Winter Blues" by Norman Rosenthal, for general information on the disorder.
