I have fallen asleep every afternoon...heavy. And I am still ready for bed at 7:30...I have been going out to do errands so that I will stay awake.
I forgot about this, or it wasn't this bad before. Hmmmm.
I am going to start adding vitamins tho.
thank God for lightboxes....couldn't exist without it.
But yea, thank goodness we have light boxes. Is it okay to do more than one hour sometimes?
I'm glad you mentioned that you had forgotten how bad it was, I thought that only happened to me. I've tried to explain to people what it's like for me in the winter, and I'm always struck by the fact that I don't really remember the awfulness of it. I remember that it was awful, and I can list my symptoms, but I can't seem to bring up the miserable feelings attached to the memories. This is a good thing, but I'm always struck by it. Of course, when the days start getting shorter and the symptoms start again, I go, "Oh, yeah! I remember this, now."
I am afraid of doing it too late, and throwing off my sleep pattern.
what vitamins does everyone take?
Blue: If I get off work early enough I will take some extra light but if it is past 4:30, then I won't.
I personally don't take many vitamins... mainly just vit D drops.
I use my light box after work (about 4:30PM), and sometimes later if I have to. I won't use it past 7PM, though, because of sleep disruption fears. I use it for 15 - 20 minutes a day, but I'm going to start upping that soon. Saturday, I felt so awful, I did a second dose of 15 minutes just to get through dinner. This is my first year using a light box, and the difference it makes is amazing.
I usually do 45-60 minutes... sometimes a little more. I don't think it is bad...but maybe I should limit is sometimes?
I was coping because the past days seemed allright, but these last days have become darker and I am convinced now I should use my light box more often. :) I use it for half an hour in the morning.
I use my light box for an hour a day in the depths of winter, as early as possible in the day
