It always seems to fall to timing...approaching when their mood is good for whatever you want to talk about. Take cues from their behavior if they are ok or not--and if not ok treat with care....be more quiet and give space in the peak times if its needed. Don't move things in environment, or make sudden changes to anything.

Well, how 'bout that? That might come close to what we have been trying to do. Haven't been able to say it so pretty, though.

I don't really have a support network. I just try and keep things as even and peaceful in the home as possible. If there are things causing stress I try and remove them.

I try and listen to what he needs...which isn't always easy because he hides things from me...but I am doing the best that I can.

I accept that I can't make everything alright...for him or for me. Life is mostly sh*t...but I do the best that I can to find what happiness I can for us...little moments.

I accept that life will never be truly happy for me or for him from now on. I know that I will not have the life that my friends do...or at least the friends that I use to have do. This is the hand we were dealt, it isn't great, but It could be worse...we could be dealing with this, and living in Afghanistan.

We have food, soft beds, plumbing, medical care and cable. That is better than what most of the people in the world have.

I can always tell if I'm going to have one of those days when I get up out of bed. I warn my husband Dave and he adjusts his attitude and helps me out with everything I have to do that day. Sometimes he'll come home from work when I can't stop crying and just hold me and tell me that no matter if I yell at him or don't talk to him at all, he still loves me and supports me. That's my support system and I couldn't do it without him. I wish everyone had a support system like I do. If anyone ever needs to chat and need some support, PM me.
