Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception of reality and by significant social dysfunction. Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
I did some things this morning outside of my routine
and low and behold it must have really affected me.
My mood was everywhere. I struggled, I tried cope
by innovating things to be on top of it.
I ended up talking to one member of the family, then two,
and then a friend. After wrestling with it I finally settled down
and went for a walk. Feeling much better now.
And feel glad and lucky to have had that "village" to catch me.

This is where therapy can help and give some skills to keep you grounded better. Do take it easy going outside of your routine but sometimes you build up resistance the more you do things. I have long periods of not driving, like 5-6 years, and my anxiety can go through the roof for days when I start driving again Which tends to subside the more I drive, trust myself and feel more comfortable with the car. Also helps to know your triggers, so you know when to get help instead of trying to just push on through,. But have no clue how we go about finding them.

It's nice to have the support! I come from a really dysfunctional family where closeness to others is an impossible task. we all detest each other and nobody gets along in my family. When I go for walks, I always run into poverty stricken people asking me for smokes, money and anything else they can get for free. Then what they do get, the use to get drunk and abusive with everyone. I think you are fortunate to have the structure and family support...
