Hello,
First of all, I have truly missed hearing from fellow members and friends. My life has been stressful, the last few months. In August, my grandma' sisters husband, my uncle on my dads of the family died. He had Pancreatic cancer. So it has been a sad time for my dads family. I met when I was a young girl and a second time, when I was visiting my grandparents in Bismarck, North Dakota. I otherwise, did not know him that well.
I will start by saying that currently the last couple weeks and the last two to three months, I have been having more Schizophrenia symptoms, I have experienced some voices/auditory hallucinations, visual hallucinations and delusional thinking.
I can only remember a few of the auditory voices. One of the first voices, I remember took place in the garage of my parents and my one brothers home. I was coming back from throwing out garbage and passing by my dads tool/workbench and I heard a voice saying that myself or someone else was going to force me to drive nails through my hands, ankles and feet. This voice totally frightened me. It was just plain creepy. The voices also were talking about forcing me to cut myself with knifes, which scared me as well. One day while having breakfast, I was passing by the toaster and took a glance at the electrical cord. Then I heard voice that told me cut myself with the sharp ends of the electrical cord as well as electrocute myself.
For visual hallucinations, I remember at my last visit with the Specialist Psychiatrist, before the appointment, I remember that I was looking out of the window in the office entry door and saw a walking shadow of a person, that again lasted a minute or two. The visual and auditory hallucinations make me feel strange and anxious.
I saw my regular psychiatrist again on Wednesday, August 15th and the latest appointment on September 5th. I told him what was going on with my Schizophrenia symptoms. He upped my Saphris dose to 20mg on August 15th and on September 5th he kept me at 20mg of Saphris. So far, I feel that the Saphris is working somewhat. I'm hoping that it will continue to help me. I only hear the voices occassionly through out a day. In April, my psychiatrist took me off of Tegretol, which was for my mood, but was otherwise not really doing anything for me. I had recent blood tests and found out I had high cholesterol. Myself, my parents and my psychiatrist are concerned about it. Last week, I started a weightloss drink diet called Almased. The diet first phase requires a liquid diet and so far, I've lost around 8 pounds. I'm happy with the diet so far.
I hope that everyone enjoys the rest of summer.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
come check in more often and say hey....
