Schizophrenia is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a mental disorder characterized by impairments in the perception of reality and by significant social dysfunction. Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
I've been diagnosed with it and so has my best friend. He is allergic to antipsychotics and antidepressants usually the alternative is benzodiazipines, except for the medical community has thrown him away because of his past drinking history. I have no idea what he could do thc makes him paranoid and I don't think he's open to talking to a shrink anymore. He's admitted once that he knows hes schizoaffective but he doesn't always know he's hallucinating and sometimes it pisses him off when I tell him. I've even told him my experience. I'm afraid I've ran into a dead end we've moved so many times because of his paranoia or his boredom and now have to move again because he threatened to call the cops on my brother. We have one housing place left to go and I'm sure there's quite the waiting list.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
