Saphris tastes terrible! When I was on it I felt very anxious. I wanted to scratch my eyes out or jump out of moving vehicles. I was climbing the walls. My pdoc took me off of it after 3 days. Each person is different though so I hope it works for you.

I'm taking Saphris... Weird that you don't feel tired. I take it under the tongue, and it makes me very tired for a few hours, as well as hungry for an hour. I've had lots of luck with this one... It's an excellent mood stabilizer, and I've almost forgotten about things like laughing uncontrollably at serious conversations, having everything become super loud and bright, and impulsively talking gibberish.

Just saw your comment, braincandy. Did you know there's a cherry flavored version, covered by medicaid? lol...

It might have been the ECT that fixed those problems, though. I don't know if antipsychotics help with those things or not.

I am on the black cherry version. Actually, now the only thing that is available is the cherry version, the old regular one is discontinued probably because it tasted so SO bad! So far so good. Yesterday was a bit um more paranoid but I worked through it and today (morning now) is much better.

I might add, though, that it has a rating of (7.6/10)(18), with 74% being a score of 8 or higher.

Oh, but uh, lol, there might be more people in praise of the drug because drug intake usually has a higher duration on clients it works on.
