I was on Risperdal for many years and the last few on Invega. I am now diagnosed with Tourettes Syndrome and am wondering if this was caused by the medication I have been on? Any ideas? The symptoms are rooted in self-condemnation and worse when I am processing criticism. The guilt is real although it may not be an actual moral violation of conscience. I am voicing out the same phrases throughout the day to the point my two year old son repeats them after I tic. There are also face grimacing and finger movements as well as convulsing when laying in bed. I have begun Neurontin for treatment and expect an increase of dosage soon. What is tardive dyskinesia?
