Untreated schizophrenia is typically characterized by demonstrating disorganized thinking and experiencing delusions or auditory hallucinations.
I recently signed up for a certification program that I think I would like but isn't what I truly want to do with my life. What I believe my calling is. But I feel like I need to limit myself to avoid worsening my symptoms...but will I regret that for the rest of my life? I am not sure if I can handle the stress of school (a Master's in Social Work-which I have part of already) that I really want to do. And not sure about practicing social work either but I feel like it is my calling. My meds keep needing to change, for the past 5 years...been on 47 different psych meds (and hundreds of combinations) and hospitalized 18 times. But I managed to finish my Bachelor's in Psych and Biology. Is it right to doubt myself? To limit myself in fear of what...failure? Not sure if this is making sense or the right place to post this but....

I think you will regret not trying more than trying and not finishing.
I I limit myself for fear of failure quite often. Doubting yourself is natural. We see our past failures and feel they will keep happening.
If you feel this is your calling and this is what you want to do, I say go for it! Just take little steps, make small goals. You already got your bachelors right? That is huge! There are a million different things you can do in social work.
