I am trying to keep as effective as I can each day.
I've had trouble in the past with 'pleasing myself'
though I was very active at the time - I now see that
this 'insatiability' was a sign of the illness I had.
Though I now have a better ability to please myself by
keeping myself occupied ( and doing the best I can
on the jobs that I have) there are still moments when
my "energies' (i'll call them) take over.
I don't if this makes sense. Here's what I have found.
there are days when your energies catch up to you.
I like to keep busy and yet know I can't always keep busy
it's impossible. I like keeping active and when I am not,
the sitting and relaxing doesn't seem to be the most
effective way for handling my need to relax.
I think maybe finding an activity to relax with may be
the idea I can look into.
I mean it is nice to sit and relax at times yet - just in front of the tv
doesn't effect calmness in me.
Writing seems to be a good way to use an activity to relax with.
I have also thought about learning how to knit. I studied painting
and knitting seems like a cool thing to do.
Anyways - I hope things are going well for you guys today.
I hope this isn't too random.
Peace,
Mark

It's a journey and a learning process along the way for me (and us.)
There are hills and valleys - and I don't think I'll ever get used to it - but I need to do something about it. The above is that something! :)
But generally the best way to deal with life and keep stable is to try balancing work, play socializing, family and Rest. These are extremely important each in there own way. When ones out of whack it can have a big impact on our mental health. Although family can sometimes mean friends rather then of blood relationship. Just as work doesn't necessary mean being paid for doing it.
Think I got lost a bit on the reply but hope you got it.
Thanks for your input!!! I appreciate it! Peace - M
