i do believe i am an alien, but a part of me is aware that the notion of one thinking that they are an alien is a very strange way to think.... i also believe that i suffer from dissosiate idenity disorder, and most of them agree that i am not human, which only compounds my feelings
on how i feel like an alien;
for over ten years now i've thought believed myself to not be human, but infact a human / alien hybrid.... i was born on earth to human parents, and as i have grown up and developed, more and more so has the alien part of me.... the reason that no one can see the alien components within me is because the alein part of me is technorganic, and my alein part of me is from a highly developed spieces that wish to study human behaviours from a distance, as we believe humans to be a very dangerous race
I've never met anyone who has thought I was an alien, and I've never really told anyone either. I try to keep it to myself, as I'm sure if I ran around town saying I was an alien, I'd be locked up. I don't feel alienated in any way, I just feel that I am not like anyone else. Not in the way that were all unqiue people, but in a way that runs deeper than that. I have emotions, but I have learned to control them, and only let them out when the time is needed.
The title is taken from a self-description from a woman who has Asperger's Syndrome ... in explaining how she relates to other people she says she feels like she is an anthropologist on Mars.
She is high functioning and aware that she is different, but she the way she expresses how she feels about being a high functioning person with Asperger's is interesting and your question reminded me of that.
