After I run, I get up earlyer.Exercises simulate the body.

Strength, I am having the same problem....does anyone else have ideas that could help? Thanks peter for your input...a lot of my non exercising is due to my lack of motivation.

I consider that a sign of being overmedicated.

Seroquel is prescribed as a sleep aid and all antipsychotics are technically "tranquilizers" by category.

I got my doc to lower my meds when I talked about sleeping 12-18 hours a day and still feeling tired.

I think lowering the meds is the only choice with that much extreme sleepiness. You really must contact the doctor and if they dont' work with you on that, change to a different doctor.

We shouldn't have to sacrifice our entire lives just to be sane.

don't sleep around the clock without drinking water and eating if u can because it promotes lung health when you're in those black moods in your dreams. they say u should fast at night but fasting makes me too hyper and then i drift off quicker while eating stimulates my adrenaline and makes me feel more positive. if ure on vacation and u can't find the fridge then take a breathmint or chewing gum and let it melt until there's saliva then say a quick prayer of thanks. also try to think romantic thoughts because those get your adrenaline pumping to the point that you lose track of your body and speed up your pulse. then you'll know your sacrificing your mood chemicals for the one you love instead of dozing in front of the t.v. like a potatohead.

you have to condition your mind to believe in you then you'll stop sleeping around the clock. just teach yourself to be very protective of your body and put your faith in God and you'll see your mind spring up and thoughts racing through your mind about how to interact with others and you won't feel the lethargy.

Thanks for all the input. I tried lowering my dose of seroquel, but without the six hundred mg at night I feel like my nerves are shot all the time. But I've been working on taking less, I still don't know how close i am to weening my self down. I don't know if i can make on a lower dosage, need sanity, but I'm trying. Also im on another antipsyhcotic, risperidal. I heard it's not good to be on to antipsychotics, but i just can't make it so far with out this combo. It would'nt be so bad if I could just do without so much sleep, but when i dont get a lot of sleep my brain functions suffer for it, and im talking about eight hours a night for a week and i would feel like im losing it. If i find any solutions ill let you all knw, and vica versa. Thanks Josh

when u wake up tell yourself your brain has been rewired while u were sleeping to take in more depth during the day and give your angels time to get fit so during the day they can indulge you. look inside yourself for God's protecting hand and grasp it quickly and never let it go so u can feel His warmth when u let go of your conscious daytime and fall asleep again.
