I met a really nice guy, but because i didnt want him to know im sick i dumb him before he could find out. I told him Im sick didnt tell him what the matter was, and told him I didnt want his beautiful face to see the hole im in. Now my question to you guys is how do you do it. How do you date when you know your sick? Im so scared of hurting someone that im hurting myself... please give me advice on this topic?
The worse that has ever happened to me because I told someone I was schizophrenic was that when we were having a disagreement he told me to "Get my meds checked because you're not making any sense." I haven't spoken to him since btw.
Anyhow, for me it's no big deal. If they know me, and like me, then they know my disease without knowing they know it. Does that make sense?
Schizophrenia is a label the medical community uses to prescribe me medication for my chemical imbalance. I am a person, schizophrenia is just my chemical imbalance.
