i am finding that i am getting a lot more aware of my patterns.
in noticing this i am starting to also realize when my moods shift.
i may have schizophrenia but i was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
this kind of getting better at noticing the shifts and 'holding on' until i come
back to center is pretty encouraging. i don't know if i will have the stamina for work again - but i am starting to look for work with the Department of Rehabilitation. i think i may have reached my limit when it comes to working but not sure, so i am going for it.

good for you , i also am at a stage where i notice things coming on, and i just ride them out, its tough but they dont last long, and i feel encouraged when they subside, kinda like an earthquake, it comes and goes. and you just hold on till it stops. good luck with looking for work..

I am more aware of patterns in my behavior and thinking as well. I feel like I want to try work again. I am starting by going back to college and taking one class at a time to see how I handle the stress. If I can handle it I am going to go into a radiology technician program. I figure an x-ray tech would probably be a low stress job that pays well. Knock on wood.

I've been aware of times of the year that have sent me off track a bit time as well. I still find people who know me notice more than I do.

My upstairs situation is somewhat different ... so, I do not mean to be an interloper.

But nevertheless, I have been way off center for quite a while.

However, more recently (esp today), I have really been levelling off in a good way. The gray area is a good place.
