I;ve signed up for a 10-week online ficiton writing workshop with Gotham Writers' Workshops in NYC...I get instruction and writing assignments and an opportunity to get two short stories critiqued in full. A little pricey, but I figure one gets what one pays for.....I've tried other sites, but this one has an instructor instead of a machine/website/ type system. Alll I need is the final email confirming my enrollment...I've already paid. It starts in two weeks and I've begun work on my first short story...I get so absorbed in the writing and re-writing..it will be a good ten weeks. This is just for your information...I wanted to tell someone!!

Ah, Max! This sounds fun. Having your work critiqued by an instructor will give you some good feedback for professional growth! How exciting!!!

AS LONG AS THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE COMPANY. I KNOW YU ARE VERY THROURGH IN WHO YOU USE JUST KEEP IT IN THE BACK OF YOUR MIND.

Yeah, they (Gotham) are the best I've run across so far adn you get personalized attention from a pro plus class feedback and instruction. All the other sites I've seen are run by a machine or something. Though Gotham is a bit pricey. They've been around since at least the early 90s....one workshop at a time !! eh eh

It is a blessing to immerse oneself in a project of creativity ... it is a reprieve from misery ... and really a recharge of the soul battery.

Yes, you are right. It keeps me focused and pretty much pleased, besides the frustrations of trying to come up with two stories and there will be writing assignments too each week. It starts this coming Wednesday....cool stuff alright. I can't wait!! Good things to all !
