I think in times of transition we have to adjust
and seek out a "new normal" I think hoping life to be the same as it was
after a time of healing is nearly defeating of what is healthier.
So in a sense healing from a hospital stay or a break can mean a time of
discovery (with patience) to see what you CAN do .

I always go back to what I could do before the hospital stay and this seems to be self-defeating for me. Especially since meds make me feel so different.
