I realize lately that my part time job is not enough (which is good, it means I am getting healthier.) I am noticing that it's not just a preference but a need.
I need a full day of activity to keep balanced and yes happy. Though I realized one way that I fight the lack of action when I come home and that is I EAT. For some reason I forget everything when I munch down on cookies or cereal or something. That inner engine lets up when I do. It seems weird that and kind of funny too.
I go for walks too and read but I can do only so much of that. I can't help the weird s*** my mind gets up to (or keep up with it) but I know when I am busy OR eating it doesn't seem to effect me as much.

read about what sugar does to your system...
everybody these days seem to have a disconnect as to what food is for ..
you will do well if you take somer time every day and devote yourself to learning about the food you eat and what it does...
your diet is the key to being happy...
every time i read people describing how the feel and think about how they feel ... it is obvious that its what they are eating and how and when...
do as i did and start a little at a time and learn... and then start making changes and see the difference.... it takes time but it is by far the only real thing going on in our lives that we have available that we can change and make our lives worthy of what and who we are....
I need a lot of activity too so sympathize there... I have many hobbies and am never without something to keep my hands busy!
Anything is good--writing, photography, art, music, sports/martial arts, etc etc
Maybe something you've always wanted to learn and now would be a good time (since you've got more energy/tolerance). Good luck!
productive hermit. :)
maybe you can look into doing a few hours of volunteer work to help fill the empty hours? or are you thinking you want to go full-time work?
im telling you its your diet too ... just listen to me and start out learning that most of what you are putting in your body has long term health effects...
