Sarcoidosis Support Group

Sarcoidosis is an immune system disorder characterised by non-necrotising granulomas (small inflammatory nodules). Virtually any organ can be affected, however, granulomas most often appear in the lungs or the lymph nodes. Symptoms can occasionally appear suddenly but more often than not appear gradually.

ANYBODY IN THERE 60,70,OR 80'S HAVE IT???

Yes I am in my 60's. I have had Sarcoidosis for 9 years. i have just had a flair coughing, tightness in chest, extreme fatigue. The doctors will give Prednisone, but I try not to have to take it because I have great side effects. I wish there was a magic pill for Sarcoidosis but for now my doctor just treats the symptoms.

Have been on Presidone for a long time and because of it I have arith. and I have to have my suqar testes and my pressuse

and I have alot of joint pain
I wish it was a magic pill
