Yucca Root

A friend of mine doctor told her to take Yucca Root to help with the inflammation from the arthritis. So I started taking it and it does help. But some where I read that it interacts with simvastatin but I can't find out what that means. It does help wit my hip and kne but I do not know if it is dangerous to keep taking it. Any suggestions?

Do you take Simvastatin meds for Cholestrol? - Lipex, Zimstat??

If you don't take it, then you don't need to worry. Glad it is helping you.

And if you do take Simvastatin, then discuss it with your Dr. The interaction may not be anything to worry about, or it may cause a problem.
I take some meds that can cause an interaction, but do not necessarily do so. I was told if I devolop certain symptoms, I needed to let them know.
But do run it by your Dr!

I take simvastatin for high chloresterol. I am going to call the doctor today. I woke up yesterday morn with 3 bruised on my leg that weren't there when I went to sleep. The Yucca root also helps with the constipation from the pain pills.
