So I saw the knee surgeon today and he said my only choice is partial knee replacement so I'm glad and hopeful that this will help my pain but I'm scared too it's a big surgery! If all goes well with my lab results surg is scheduled for Monday. Y'all think of me. I will prob. Be drugged up a lot next week I will check back in as soon as I come around to the land of the living. Lol.

Good luck! Hope you get some relief. Do everything your physical therapists says...I wouldn't be moving my knee hardly at all if I hadn't done p.t. for 12 weeks post surgery after an ACL replacement. It hurts in the beginning, but is worth it to make that knee strong again.

Best of luck to you, Kim! I've had 5 friends within the past year have knee replacements. There is considerable PT, but very worthwhile. Be strong and keep your eye on the goal! Hugs!

Kim you know this is the best news I have heard. You will follow what to do in order to get better. Just keep on top of your pain medication. And eat foods that include roughage, fruits, prunes (warm) and avocado. You do not want to be constipated. And they usually want that BM before Discharge. You will be fine. Best of everything to you my brave friend. Just know the exercise part is not easy. But just hang in there.

Thanx to everyone for you uplifting words. I suppose it's normal to be afraid I've had lots of surgeries but this one is a biggie and I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried about complications. But I'm sure it will be fine I trust the path I'm on and my goal is to get even a little better to be able to do more with my family. My prob now is I can't sleep and am on the verge of tears partly from pain ( which is much worse after arthroscopy) but mostly from anxiety. Thank you again it means a lot to have so many peole thinking of me and wishing me well !! Blessings , Kim
