am wondering when I am in a bad pain situation like now , I wonder if say an 800mg Motrin would kick in better/faster than the kinds my RA doc gave me.....which are sustained release and/or extended release.
(one is Cataflam , one is Indomethacin)
I am still trying to decide which of those 2 sustained release ones help me more, I think the INdomethacin.......but when I "forget" to take it in time to keep the monster at bay, it does not seem to help..
yesterday I tried a motrin instead and I almost am thinking it did work faster and better, but wore off sooner.
and in case you wonder, I do not mix any of these of course.
and I do plan to ask the doc when I am able.

I need to stop guessing these symptoms and maybe email him .
I have a bad tendency to put myself in charge of what to take. 8-(
BTW I am allergic to sulfa meds and if I recall that includes Celebrex so that is out of the question for me.
And , am I wrong, didn't they take Vioxx off the market a few years ago for some kind of problem? But I see people are still on it, so am confused about it. maybe I am wrong.
one last question to mmztcass, what has high fructose corn syrup?
the children's ibuprofen, is that it? that is awful, if that is the case!
when will they stop putting that gosh awful crap in our food and medicine? I really feel the corn syrup and also hydrogeneated oils are at least partly to blame with American health issues like obesity (me included) and MAYBE disease. Not to sound like a nut job but I feel strongly on that topic.
