Bistro, I'm not sure that's it any one thing per say. But I too see the need for the reminder. It seems that due to past incidents, tension may be a little high these days.

I have seen only kindness and support on this blog, but I despair about the lack of civility all over the media. No one refers to our President by his title; it is always "Obama"; the office of the presidency deserve respect despite our feelings for the man. The crude and often cruel commentary becomes much worse than that and the targets are widespread. Just read some of the political blogs. It seems like politics are bringing out the worst in us, but the general nastiness is spreading. I thought the widespread publication of a bloodied and disoriented Ghadaffi were the ultimate in incivility, no matter what his crimes! OK; I'll quit preaching after I remind you to do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
