Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...

Like you, my hands hurt a lot. Plus those tiny joints on the tops of my feet and then my knees also. THose are the worse for me. I get the neck problems that make it impossible to sleep and also ankle problems. I'm wondering if when the spring time comes if we will feel somewhat better? maybe not alot better but hope fully some relief. THis is my first year so i don't know.
My right shoulder does a fair amount of popping & cracking especially if I'm cleaning in a circular motion like washing my car or wiping down the coffee table.
Most severe? Knees, Hips & Hands/Wrists
Thrown in the mix somewhere... Feet, Lower Back & Elbows. I don't think I've had shoulder pain in my flares, but this is all new to me, so I'm not sure what's just a "pulled muscle" or "I just slept on it wrong" that's causing pain in my neck/shoulder.
Peace

Right now my knuckles at the base of my pointers, my large toe joint on the left foot if I walk too much, my heels are horrible and my right ankle over an old injury is horrible. My left wrist is almost nonfunctional now and gives me grief.
My jaw was tender, but it disappeared overnight. My other knuckles, other wrist and ankle hurt, but these are the current focus.
Sleep would be a wonderful thing. 90 min seems to be my magic number before waking . And that's with enough meds to take down an elephant.
And ankles, both have been consistently swollen for over a yr now, the left is a little worse than the right. And low low back, it seems to always be on "simmer" just waiting to go out. Then next in order would be wrist, then neck. And hair, did I mention my hair??!!! LOL
