Have any of you here had a weird feeling on your tongue? I feel like it has been burned or has a 'coat' on it. Very strange and started probably around the same time as my symptoms in Jan. I'm on plaquenil/celebrex/prednisone as needed... Food tastes kinda OK, just a odd feeling and I keep staring at my tongue. I go back to the RA dr. in early May and will ask her also... thanks, Donna

I have the exact same symptom as you. Only thing different is stuff taste really salty to me. There is nothing on my tongue but still feels like there is something there and driving me crazy :)
I am on plaquinil, prednisone, methotrexate, (was on imuran but switched to the methotrexate a week ago but been dealing with this for almost a month) plus a few other meds for other problems I have.

Good luck finding out the cause. I don't go back to the doctor until middle of april so I can't ask until then.

I have something like your describing. more of a burning sensation at times or sensitivity. I'm on Enbral though. I have Sjogrens also & wondered if its more that then anything.
It is strange.
