Mothers Day is coming. Another holiday, another DREAD!!
My two adult sons (40 & 43) live VERY far away and I'm lucky if I get a phone call from them.
My daughter is an hour and a half away and she usually comes through. But she waited till today to ask me out to dinner on Sunday, so here's the thing:
I feel like I'm a burden and obligation, a duty... and I HATE IT!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!!
My kids are all far away this Mother's Day. But my daughter phones me several times a day, whether I want her to, or not. One son phones all the time, and I know the others care. I will miss not being with any of them this year, usually I have had a least one of my kids to celebrate with.
My husband gave me a beautiful wagon with pneumatic wheels for rolling my bedding plants in and out of the house, which is going to keep on happening, because it is so cold, I cannot put them out. It was a thoughtful gift! About plants and flowers, what can I say!
