I'm so new to this, so forgive me if this is totally ignorant. I was diagnosed with RA last month by my PCP, and will see a Rheumatologist for the first time in early April. I was doing some stretching and was staring at my shins, and saw tiny red dots in various areas. I recall about a year ago seeing some on one shin, but very faint and very localized. They were faint enough I thought they could be freckles maybe? (This was about the time Raynaud's showed up to the party) They persisted but didn't bother me or get brighter. Now, they are all up and down my shins, some are red, some look again maybe like freckles.. sorta... but my legs have not seen the light of the sun in many year. Googling is freaking me out. Is this part of RA? Lupus? Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura? Did I just overdo it today?
Can this wait until April 7 or should I be concerned enough to try and get into my PCP on Monday? Thanks for any advice or hand-holding!
