Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. I totally understand about your anxiety about the wedding. I think many of us can relate to that feeling - it's not "vain" - it's human! But you are setting a really good example for your sweet daughters - showing them through your actions that no matter how you feel, you are making the best of a challenging situation. I can't think of a better gift you could give them.
Hugs to you during this painful time...
I know you fell bad and that makes us THINK we look terrible and I understand your thoughts.
Your daughters sound like they are your blessings
Peace and rest when you need to

Try to imagine someone you know being in your shoes and having doubts about going to the wedding you'd no doubt think, "No one cares how you look, we just care about you and want to see you!" I think that's how all your friends will feel about you.
I hope you feel much better by then and are able to have a good time at the wedding!
You're way past due for some relief, so you'll be in my prayers. Hope you can enjoy yourself at the wedding. (BTW, I have to wear sunglasses indoors, too, and it's rare that anyone even asks about it. When they do ask, I just say it's a medical issue and let it go at that.)
God bless,
Marlene

I understand your feeling about the wedding, but you know that you would regret not going. Your daughters sound like wonderful support and I suspect your friends and relatives will be, as well. I suggest that you go and enjoy, renew those friendships and you'll be able to connect again when you are feeling better.
