Oh, another one is, taking Papa's cell and he know's how to go to, talking Carl, and he will start talking to the phone and laughs when it repeats him
Kids always make me smile. I've always said kids is what it's all about, and there are so many ways they reach my heart. I just became a first-time grandpa, last week, and I've been smiling since.
I don't know that I have any funny stories, per se, but I'm an optimist and a smiler by nature. I take great pleasure in the beautiful surroundings where I live, guaranteed to bring a smile to my heart, as well as my face, every day.
My cat, one of my best friends, makes me smile everyday. Watching this old-timer play like a kitten, batting acorns down the driveway, chasing bugs, coming to the door to lead me out to the side yard to play hide-and-seek... he always keeps me smiling.

As for you having the same hair as your dog...I think I would have peed my pants...that is too funny!
Funny first. We were visiting a church during morning service when my son, maybe 3 months at the time, starts to cry. A kind woman leans forward and ask if maybe he's hungry, and tells me that there is a kitchen in the fellowship hall if I need to make a bottle. My daughter, a little over 2, very loudly announces that her brother doesn't drink bottles, "He eats mommy's boobies."
Of course the music stops and the church becomes dead quiet while she's announcing this!
Dumbfounded? We will go withthe most recent.
My husband and I had just put the kids to bed and decided to watch the new show "Walking Dead". I'm hooked, hubby hasn't seen it. A scene comes on where everyone is talking in panicky tones, it was enough to bring my son out of his bed.
He stands at the end of the hall and informs us that "What we are watching is scaring him and it will keep him up all night." Then waits until we turn it off before going back to bed.
My hubby and I look at each other, then towards his room. Our son has a hard time understanding who's house this is. His, or ours! LOL... worse yet, he says things with such conviction and authority for an eleven year, my husband and I (and just about everyone else) respond without thinking as to who is giving the order!
How do you teach an eleven year old that they aren't in charge, when clearly, they are!
Sorry so long, I could go on forever though LOL..
