Ugh! Back home in the Deep South rainy HUMID yuck. I'm so fatigued and my daughter caught a virus at camp and it is now inhabiting me of course. I want to go back to Montana. Mayb someday we can live out there again. Anyway I wasn't sure if enbrel was working cuz I felt better ( not well) up high but now at home I think mayb it's not working.

How long have u been on the Enbrel? U could also be in a crash or flare right now. U really did go during ur extended trip.... and with being ill it might be more going on than just the RA. U might give yourself a good rest and then reassess on the needs. Just my two cents worth.

You definitely could be in a flair, so you may need prednisone pack or something before you discount the enbrel.

I guess I have been on enbrel for bout 2 months. I felt better out west not exactly symptom free but better. Most of our vaca was spent driving thru glacier park and such not too much walking. But it is so weird almost imediay upon getting back home I'm back to the same hip pain. Almost crippled with pain upon walking. I can only figure it has to be elevation change and climate. Is that possible. Does it mean that the RA is not under controll yet?

Kimberley, I know that the altitude seems to make a difference for me. We moved up to the mountains in Central Idaho about 5 years a go, and I do so much better here than down in Boise. The cooler temps help so much as I couldn't take the heat any more. Even in mild weather, I do better up higher. Humidity is so hard to deal with. I am sorry you are having to do that.
