I am down to 2 mg, I drop 1 mg every 2 weeks, and I really feel it. I may have to speed up the weaning, because I think I have a broken bone that has not been healing.
Weaning is always a bit difficult, but your doc has given you lots of time. You might even want to cut those 1 mg pills in half, and do 4 1/2 mg for 2 weeks, then 4 mg for 2 weeks, 3 1/2 mg for 2 weeks. Of course, you might want to talk to your doctor, to see if it is ok.
Art4, taking alleve and MTX please keep a very close watch on your liver numbers. In the beginning I was doing that and got absolutely chewed out by my RA for doing it.
