Side effect of being "HEALTHY"

So I've never been a "string bean" body type. My older brothers teased me to no end my mother would fuss at them and say" boys she's not fat she's healthy. " Lol. So I have intertrigo I guess from being (ample. )now it has developed either staph or strep infection of the skin. From bad immune system ( not healthy) Yikes. So am using antibiotic cream since I can't ( shouldn't) take oral antibiotics due to my recent C Diff episode. Never a dull moment.

Oh no, any type of infection can go bad very quickly so please be careful. I hope it heals quick. I am also "healthy" I guess..LOL....

I've always been more of the Kardasian build. Even now after dropping a ton of weight I'm staying at the very top of what a 'healthy BMI' weight is. Weigh my self with shoes on and I'm classified as slightly overweight. Oh well....

Hope you get that skin infection cleared up soon. Those things can go bad fast!

Try to keep any skin on skin contact from occurring and be sure to dry the area completely with a blow dryer after showering. You've stopped all dmards and/or biologics, right?

I am also in the midst of battling a staph infection at my ankle.. I have been on the antibiotics that are used to treat it for six weeks now and the doctor thinks it will be another 2-3 weeks before it heals properly.so, yes, it is a slow healing process. The other thing I was told to do is to keep that leg elevated.as much as possible. It's also made me so tired that I need to have a long "nanny nap.".
