Just panicking should the Senate pass this BS. I'm on MTX only, but am yet to be pain free, so suspect biologics in my future. At least what I thought would be my future. So I'm 55 with a pre-existing condition....I just exploded when I heard it passed the House. Thanks for listening.

Susie, when I didn't have insurance the drug company or affiliated organzation gave me the meds for free, even the dilivery was free. I know it is scary, but don't believe everything the fake news reports.

That's true. Many pharm cos help patients without insurance. And while I fully understand your outrage and fear, it aint over till it's over and you can also hope your state does the right thing.

There are many people who manage their RA without medication.

I am ultra severe. I need a triple combo. I can only be glad that I am in Canada. But that is small comfort for people who cannot work or have group insurance because they are so disabled by this disease, and those who say that lifestyle has caused their disease, because they are healthy! I have also heard that spouses may be affected by this, whose spouses are employed.

I have also had various drug companies help me when my insurance had not kicked in fully. But, I wonder with so many people needing assistance, if the companies may put that assistance policy on hold? I sure hope not!

Susie, I understand, And I'm sure the outrage and frustration we're feeling isn't helping us either! The outlook, according to non-partisan groups who monitor these things, is not encouraging. My hope is that the senators will feel such backlash that they will fear for their re-election chances and they'll run away from this.
