Scleritis

was just diagnosed with scleritis.... RA, the gift that keeps on giving....

anyone know anything about this eye disease? doc says it's caused by my RA..... basically like RA in the eye, i guess.

There are a couple on here with it. I thought I had it too but have blepharitis although specialist said it could lead to scleritis.

At the time I researched it and basically it comes and goes like RA flares. There will be special drops to help. Hopefully you will get through this early round soon.

Be so very careful. 2013 gave me an eye ulcer, an aneurysm behind my end and a stroke ion front of the same eye. I've had dry eyes for years and blephitis. RA brought on high blood pressure which in turn caused more damage to my eyes. This is not a fun game, but I find myself being thankful gave been diagnosed in these times, rather than stay 100 years ago, or in a country where medical help is unavailable. Go out and have a great day & use your eye drops! Trish
