Does anyone know how she is doing? Absent after being very active and I think was about to have surgery.

I know it isnt a general discussion topic but she has been a frequent contributor and this site is about us sticking together and being supportive.

It is funny after you lurk on this site for so long and then realize the ones who really contribute lots and then to see them just vanish....it's an eery silence that makes you want to hear their typing voice once again. Glad to hear about your hip!

When you have the next hip done you'll have a good one to support you while it heals. This time, another bad one had to carry the load. Get another dose of Remicade going, and see how you feel.

Good point, Alto. Now that I'm past the horrible part of recovery - I feel like superwoman on/in my right hip! That will definitely help next time.

My knee replacement was the worse surgery I ever had! But it does get better. I am so glad that your hip has improved so much. Cheers!

Next time you'll have a "leg up" on the surgery.
