I knew that toxins and artificial foods were wrong since I was a kid. I also live in the country in northern Canada, away from industry and always have. I think if someone eats nothing but junk food they are really going to have a lot of physical issues, for sure. But it is not going to stop or cure RA.
My personal experience has been that diet has made no difference to my RA, which is severe. For some people it is enough to even induce remission, but not in my case unfortunately. I am studying nutrition at uni, so I do have knowledge in this area - I've tried vegan, Body Ecology / GAPS, paleo, no starch, it goes on! I was already eating very healthily, no processed food and organic where possible. Now I stick to paleo, however I don't eat alot of meat - so mostly starch-free veg and seeds / nuts. Who knows, perhaps I would be alot worse on a different diet!
Keep going with it stenvikm, cleaning up your diet can only be a good thing, and it's great you've already noticed improvements!
Have a positive day!
Thanks for suggesting something I personally wasn't aware existed.
