RA Warrior scares

the bejesus out of me. I read through the moderator's blogs (Kelly Young) and it seems she does a lot of internet research and copies it to her page. She often chimes in with her own remarks. I also learned that nothing has worked for her and she is currently on no medication.
However, the pasted research is somewhat scary to an extent. I try to stir away from negativity remarks of RA. We all know what the untreated outcome will evolve into. If you want to get better or at least remain positive don't believe every article on RA you read. For example, nih.gov gives a very harsh description of RA and if you're a new comer it gives you no hope. Being an ex-government employee I'm aware of their research as well.
All in a nutshell don't believe everything on the internet. The best teachers are support groups such as this one. I've learned more here than I could ever find on the internet.

I think me & Kelly were diagnosed around the same time because I believe I remember her posting on another site that we both belonged to way back when. She thanked me for support in regard to something she posted about and then she developed her RAWarrior site. I have always enjoyed her site-but I haven't been there much. Her path of RA has not followed mine. I have been a lucky one to have achieved remission after early on aggressive treatment of what was severe RA that turned into mild. My Dr. calls this remission-but I call it mild RA because it is still obvious to me that I have it albeit I am not an invalid. I am able to carry on my life pretty much unscathed and go to work every day but still have mild aches and pains that I did not have pre RA.
I haven't been on Kelly's site recently but ReeDee piqued my interest when she said Kelly's no longer on meds because neither am I....now I have to go and find out the lo-down
