I agree with Sally, you are stressing way to much about this. Have you talked to your family doctor about an anti-depressant and maybe an anti-anxiety to get you through this?
For me, trusting God has gotten me through a lot of RA anxiety, including now, after 10 months of med failures. You can pm me if you want to know more.
I would be very surprised if you were denied, based on what you have shared with us. Try to get your mind off of this - delve into something that requires your full attention. Sometimes good things happen when you are busy thinking about something else. Sort of like a watched pot never boils.
I would think it is definitely to your advantage that he listed no precipitating events.

This is a big deal for you as it is for me since it is our ability to support ourselves. One technique I use to disconnect and give my brain a break is binge watching series or movies.

2) My bosses know that my disability is or will impair my ability to do my job and it is their legitimate role to push me in this direction. I would hope my retirement board takes that into consideration as my superintendent's office did submit a letter stating why I could no longer do my job any longer.
I'll try and relax. I just want it to be over with!
