As far as I know, there is no history of RA in my family.
They pretty much told me to lose weight first, but that's always the first thing they tell you no matter what you have wrong! Most of the things they tell you are good for you whether you have RA or not, so it might be a good idea to start a good exercise program now. As for testing, it couldn't hurt.
