praying for a good report

well today is the day I see the pulmonary dr. Im alittle scared of the outcome, Im praying its just a touch of broncitus or something...Ive had this bad cough for months, pcp dr says just a cold and sends me home. Rheaumy thought maybe mtx but Ive been off for 2 weeks now and no change.well no matter what it is.... I need an answer. lots of prayers needed, thank you in advance !!!

I hope you are ok. I had bronchitis twice last fall, and on antibiotics four times. My stomach is just starting to recover. Normally, I take a lot of vitamins and the lungs stay healthy. But my father was dying and the stress was just tremendous and that probably brought it out.

Hope the visit went well. Hope the cold/hot/cold/hot weather doesn't have you down. You might consider a humidifiers if you are having temperature erature swings

thanks everybody !! has anyone heard of R.A lung disease? according to this dr, half of everyone that has R.A. gets it. Im going for alot more tests in the next couple days. hes leaning towards this disease or chronic Broncitis. I hope its the latter of the two....the lung disease causes inflamation and scar tissue. of course no cure. Ive never even heard of this !! I said wonderfull its not cancer !! and he looked at me confused. it wasent till I got home that I looked it up. Im not giving in yet...I still have hope. Thanks again for all your prayers !!

I hoped you would post back. First, sounds like you got a decent specialist. I'm sorry that it may be RA related.
My aunt has lung nodules and had some other issues with breathing, which were never fully attributed to RA. She also has horrible allergies and much of her lung issues could be those as much as RA.

I will keep praying for you Tina.
