I have been on Plaquenil for the past maybe five years or more. I have no problems with it. I have my eyes checked regularly and so far its doing well for me.

I switched to it from MTX last week b/c MTX severly upsetted my stomach. Although the Plaquenil did too after only two doses. I'm currently detoxing from all meds and am going to slowly introduce Plaquenil again this week. My dr said it may not work as well to reduce inflammation but that it's generally better tolerated than other medicines.

I was diagnosed in Feb and on plaq since then. It made me woozie /nauseous for a while. It has been about 5 mos and it has been working better a little at a time. The flares which are every 5 weeks or so have been getting less severe. I have no side effects anymore that i can tell.

I was dx'd in February and the rheumy and I discussed Plaquenil, but he felt that it wouldn't help my case of RA, so we started with MTX.

I have taken Plaquenil for a little more than 2 months and have seen a huge difference. My doctor is super impressed and I'm very happy. I'm doing things i haven't done in 4 years. I do have to take GasX bc it makes me bloated. Small price for what it has done for me.

my doc did some new test at some lab out in california that supposedly shows that my "level of disease activity" was fairly low. Which doesn't seem to explain why I am so fudging miserable, but he said that the plaquenil should work for me.

I have been taking it for 2+ years and it has helped. In the beginning it was a miracle. But it only lasted a while. It looks like I am going to have to add an additional medication because I am having a lot of pain and stiffness. Just had my eye exam today and it is fine.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
