I was 66 when diagnosed but I don't know how long I actually had it. There definitely seems to be a genetic component to this disease. I can only hope that if they do get it, perhaps there will finally be a cure, or they will get it late in life as I did. They have all expressed to me that they expect to get it, due to our family history. That's so sad.
My wish for all is a pain free day and restful sleep at night

my baby has got my hubby's genes. he is in good health. hope she will do fine. but i am going to talk to her pediatrician and i am gonna watch her too. she is 2.5 but still i am worried.
It's bad, I know, but there are far worse. :(
My kids are only 9 and 12. We need to make it to the other side of 21 alive first. :)
