I'm starting to see results, I think. My energy level is up, I just came off a rough few weeks, but not THAT rough as I was able to work each day, etc. I just had to take more medicines to manage.

Only side effect was scratchy throat at beginning of first infusion - now they premedicate with benadryl.
It is great to have no side effects from this drug! And to have it be working. I wish I could take it with MTX, that increases the effectiveness.
I much prefer the infusion to self injection at this point. I don't mind doing injections myself, but I had terrible site reactions. With infusion, no reactions!
PS I have two symptoms that started around the same time as the Orencia, shortness of breath and loss of appetite. My rheumy does not think these are Orencia-related, but I'm not so sure. In any case, they are not severe enough to make me stop taking it.
I'm waiting for insurance approval and am hoping to start next week.
