anyone else on this ? and if so , how is it for you ? I have had 3 loading doses in June and l feel dreadful/ fatique, nauseated.........(not to the point to throw up but affects my mood and appetite)
today and yesterday , finally feeling somewhat better.......not long enough to know if I have turned a corner on side effects.
when I ask doc and nurses at infusion center , all they ever say is "it's very well tolerated"
I do think my hand and feet /ankle pain less now.
at least I don't have to do it more than once a month now.
aLso I can't figure out the new design on the site here...how to search for the discussions that already exist?
What about switching to injectable? Maybe the infusions, where it hits you hard and fast are the issue? I've been on Actemra and Rituxan infusions. The Rituxan infusions were not a problem, but Actemra was a real issue. But then, maybe my body just didn't like the medication?
As for the search function, I believe it is the magnifying glass in the upper right corner, next to the white envelope and your avatar. They changed this site a while back, and I don't know if anyone ever figured it out the new one. You might want to go to "Daily Strength Members Community" and post a thread there asking for instructions on how to look up old threads. And my personal preference is not to post on the thread, bumping up something from years ago, where most of the people are gone. But, a good thing to read the old threads, to look for information.
And thus, here I am. And no , I did not have symptoms with the weekly injections so it 's ironic. The further I get from my last infusion, the better I am starting to feel. So maybe it was too much for me as far as the loading doses.....3 times in a month .
But yesterday I noticed I could walk up and down steps to my house , and my knees seemed to work. and feet.
hands feel much better also.
I still have major fatique many times per day but at least the nausea is not with me now !
