Seems to me that not just the pain but the psychological impacts of our disease peak with changes of the seasons. Also seems to be most demonstrative at the times of equinox or right after rather than the other two. Probably nothing to it though.

Not me! The only thing that affects me is meds not working, or no meds.

I'm coming out of that state, and looking forward to starting to do things again. But I am going to have to kick myself to get back exercising. I think I tried too hard when I was in med failure and paid the price for days after.

I'm even considering doing my PhD. Nothing seasonal about it!

I don't know, nono, since this is my first season change. I do know some of our meds, methotrexate in particular, have "several distinct patterns of neuropsychiatric toxicity". I was already about half nutter but throw in all these inflammation symptoms along with a little neuropsychiatric toxicity and we are talking bat shit crazy by now.

It'll all be okay though.

The equinoxes are the most difficult for me.... ALWAYs. Especially the fall. It's been this way for 6 years. The winners are fine but fall is awful....always a big flare.

I am sensitive to the moon, rain, and cold. the sun lifts my spirits and the heat helps with my stiffness and pain

Interesting observation. For me, March is usually about the worst, but this year last month and this one have been wretched, and not just on the disease front Coincidence?.

'ole blue is a WARM weather guy - before this challenge in my life, I preferred warm, but as others have said - I need the warm to help me get through the pain and agro I (and we) deal with. Winter time is a wonderful time and a necessary time for all creatures and flora. 'ole blue will enjoy it beside the fireplace and watching the birds on the patio railing. Or go back to Aruba ......

I agree, I do mostly good through the winter and summer, but spring and fall stink, but also we know that storms & barometric pressure affect us too. I feel like I'm coming down with the flu the day before a storm comes in. Of course I feel like I'm coming down with the flu whenever I'm starting to flare up anytime.
