In fact never allowed it on except at scheduled times for my girls.
Now I'm making up for it.
Love the Chicago Triology on NBC. Castle...
Love the oldies like every loves Raymond....
UP channel, clean TV, the View & love history so every now & then history channel. Music was my thing & trying to get back to it & turn off the TV. Enjoy a good movie where never made the to sit long enough in my previous life. To be honest if not for my grandson I'd probably watch less but hard to do the things I'd like to do with almost 4 yr old into everything.
Still can't believe I became addicted to certain shows. Everyone in my home knows during that time I'm into my Chicago series.
Shameful!

I recently signed up for U-Verse TV, and like someone mentioned, the shows and movies can be a good way to distract myself when I start overthinking my health issues. Right now my favorite channel is HGTV. I like Love It or List It and Flip or Flop, but confess to having a serious crush on the Property Brothers.
Other shows I enjoy are So You Think You can Dance, Antiques Roadshow, and any other program where they find cool junk that ends up being valuable.
House Hunters (in Georgia and other places- the ones set in Europe are eye opening- so tiny)
Texas Flip and Move
Love it or List It (those darn unexpected expenses!)
Property Brothers (& their various shows) I like the designs
Log Cabin Living
Alaska Living (or something like that)
Caribbean Life
Island Life (who wouldn't wish to be able to afford to BUY an island!)
Hawaiian Life (or whatever it's called). No thank you, no house for me near that lava.
BARNWOOD BUILDERS. The BEST!! I live in an 1843 house.
Property Virgins annoys me. They are so stupid. But that's the show.
The Smithsonian Channel has great shows.
And all the news broadcasts. I love to compare the "facts" that are often omitted or twisted.
And, of course, Raymond. Who DOESNT love him?
I, too, never watched TV while the kids were growing up. Couldn't sit still long enough.
Yeah. Now it's lots of naps for me. And TV.
Family Feud w/ Steve Harvey
Big Bang Theory
My Wife and Kids
I mostly watch Netflix movies or series and Amazon Prime movies / series and even youtube series/ soap operas.
I do not like commercials and can't watch more than 30 minutes of telelvision at a time.
I would rather be sewing, crafting, painting, or writing.
But I like to watch my soap opera at night / 1960s Peyton Place w/ Mia Farrow and Ryan ONeal on youtube and color in my adult coloring color book. LoL.

Also, on my Kindle, I love word games, especially "Every Word!"
And, when I'm doing a Steroid taper, I'm thankful for shows and word games.
Another great program is Fixer Upper. They had a really funny show with all the bloopers and out takes on tonight. I haven't laughed that much in a while.
But I knew what was going to happen due to the comics. But have you seen all the "Gossip" about the season finale??? Or Andrew Lincoln's quote over it? **sad face**
Do you watch Z Nation. My husband and daughter started to watch it when it came on and I was just not interested. It was hokey and Cheesy but then half way through I got hooked. Now I love it!
I am a TVholic. Always have been.
One of the shows I loved way back was Deadliest Catch. In 2011 I got free tickets to the Catchcon convention in Seattle. I live in CA. I sprang that on hubby and we flew out for the weekend. Best time ever. Show has went downhill after Captain Phil's death and I still have 17 episodes on my DVR and I knew the new season starts in spring. Time to catch up.
Also love Doctor Who. In fact, we went to the Galifrey One convention this last weekend. I was not impressed at all but my biggest excitement was hearing Patricia Quinn was a guest (Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show) which I would go see almost every weekend at midnight as a teen. She was my fave. Got photo's with her. I tend to get star struck!
I watch The Bachelor and Bachelorette.,...yeah cheesy. I LOVE Survivor. Really been into that new one with Jennifer Lopez and Ray Liotta.....Shades of Blue. I love The Blacklist. Have had a crush on James Spader since I was a teen. Still do!
I could go on and on!
