Fascinating research. I have two dogs starting to show OA. Might see if it becomes available in next year or two for them.

Human trials wouldn't be far behind once its approved for use in dogs.

I'm thrilled to see that someone is working on non-narcotic solutions to chronic pain. Interesting that they were talking about using this in people with MS and ALS, both of which are characterized more by numbness and loss of movement than by pain.

I am in full agreement with RASally.
I wonder what kind of "near future" they are talking about.
This is one study I'd consider volunteering for.
My relationship with my Rhuemy runs cold & hot but I respect the fact she was honest when she said they have no clue exactly what occurs inside a patient with RA. Such as why all of a sudden a drug that worked so well suddenly stops.

Other then support groups no one anywhere gives an ACCURATE description of what RA truly encompasses. Doctors included.
I find this study encouraging & I really hope it does not take 20 years to implement with CP patients.

Interesting article. As a mathematician I understand some of the complexities of doing significant research. Unfortunately to have significantly important results all those other factors have to studied as well.

I hope it doesn't take too awfully long. Some people have been suffering in pain their entire lives. Something just has to change. Hopefully the pharmaceutical companies will allow the change.
