Rheumatoid Arthritis Support Group
Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic, inflammatory, multisystem, autoimmune disorder. It is a disabling and painful condition which can lead to substantial loss of mobility due to pain and joint destruction. The disease is also systemic in that it often also affects many extra-articular tissues throughout the body including the skin, blood vessels, heart, lungs, and...
I'm dealing with the same issue! So far, I am getting the biggest response from a supplement called Floracor and more importantly, Lauricidin which claims to stop viruses and fungus from producing more. It says however that it takes 3 to 5 months to really work. All I can say is I've had this problem for over a year and so far, out of everything I've tried this has been the most helpful. Unfortunately, no cigar yet,so in that sense, I am no help!
what has helped you so far?
hugs,
Sarah
I used to have recurring yeast infections, that nothing would help. Since I stopped taking antibiotics for the most part, and stopped eating sugar, only good foods, it has been better. Of course, it could be my age - no hormones left to trigger it.

I hate to say it but the one thing that really truly helped mine go away was to starve it from sugars/breads/ and the stuff it really thrives on. To make it's environment that it loves non-livable if you will - and I can't believe I'M saying that... the one who used to be THE LOVER of ALL THINGS SWEET! It was only until I was forced to choose between live and death with my allergy when I realized the other beneficial outcomes like my yeast/thrush going away!!!
Sarah has some great advice on her website!!! :)
Hope this helps some...it's hard to do but you feel soooo much better in the long run!

Have you tried probiotics and yogurt every day?
It will keep the good bacteria kiling the yeast.
A fabulous website that really has lots of info and support and sugar free recipes is wholeapproach.com. They also sell homeopathic antifungal products that help a lot. I find I need to cut out the sugar and take an antifungal to stay yeast free. I rotate my anti fungal 3 times a year so the yeast does not build up a tolorance. Olive leaf, grapefruit extract and caprilic acid all work really well. They also don't harm your liver like diflucan which is the only thing the doctor will give you. Having struggled for years with this - for me the key is to not eat white sugar! I can have lots of agave syrup and splenda and stevia sweetners so I am not totally deprived. But if I just look at a can of Coke, I will get a yeast infection. I also take lots of probiotics and eat yogurt. They really help too I think.
Good luck, it really stinks.

Has lots of alternative herbal rememdies for yeast/fungal and parasites.
I don't necessarily buy into the 'Candida causes arthritis' bit but I do think that getting it under control can improve your overall inflamation levels and general health.
Hey I figure.. what do I have to loose at this point. Nothing in this diet can possible hurt me so I'm going for it.
