Knee surgery

I had total knee replacement on my left side in 2010 and I  had pins put in my left hip because of a fracture, I thought that after I had the surgery's my knee is swollen all the time and when the fronts come in my knee and hip so bad I'm walking the floor it hurts so bad I take 30mg of time release morphine 2 times a day and when I hurt that bad I also take oxycod/apap for the pain do anyone else have these problems.

I help people who have the RA,the pain i see in the eyes..a couple of them are not that old either and they swear by exercise or aqua exercises. I have used biofreeze on them and it helps for a while,or the cortisone . Wish they would find a cure already. Could you go see a physiotherapist ? Acupuncture?

Nance - are you on a biologic? Or just narcotics? If it's RA, killing the pain is not resolving the problem and you need to be careful not to get addicted.

Have you had recent X-rays? Maybe something has gone miss with the knee replacement or pins in your hip. I had pins and screws an dplates in my ankle for a fracture and the screws came loss after a year.
