Knee Caps!!!!!

My knee caps feel like they are wet. Does anyone feel this and does anyone know why this is? It has me affraid not knowing what to expect. My knees also feel like they can't support me sometimes. I went to two grocery stores and walked all over both of them!!
My left knee hss popped about 5 times. I am really scared ow knee replacement. I have no insurance. I haven't even been able to see a Rhuemy.

TW, yes it is a wierd feeling...If you have no insurance, start calling the different rhuemys in your area, they will tell you a cost and they will set up a reasonable payment plan for you.. Don't wait to long as more damage is done by waiting. If not see your regular doctor and ask for the blood test for r.a. to get some kind of a diagnosis..

I've never had those feelings that you described but I have had popping and crunching noises. My doc says that problems in the top of the knee around the knee cap is due to Osteo Arthritis, pain from RA in the knee is felt behind the knee and also causes inflamation and feels hot to the touch when the disease is active in a joint.

I get numbness and tingling along with weird sensations like burning and feeling like something is on my toes - I am told that that is due to neuropathy or pain from the nerves. Weird, the strange feelings we can get all over our bodies!

You mentioned that your Md diagnosed you with RA, did he run any blood tests and did he give you any results? I'd be curious to see those numbers because they can let you know how active the inflamation is in your body.
