The last year and a half has been a crazy ride. Starting with Cancer last spring followed by major surgery, then a brief glimpse of hope when I got married in the fall, then HORRIBLE winter with pain and finally received my official RA diagnosis, intense weight gain from depression... Have been on and off meds trying to find the right combination for over a year now and then I have to go and slip and tear my MCL in my knee!!!

I thought things were going to be getting better this summer... NOT worse! :( I'm just ready for something good to happen in my life!

Sounds like a crazy year for you, but as the saying goes it can only go up from here :) I'm sure something great will be in store for the future stay positive. I am sorry this all has happened in such a short time frame but it sounds like you are a strong person and if anyone can turn this up it's you :)

Oh Secret, so sad to hear this. We are on a similar path. I've been laid up for almost 7 months. Just when I recovered from foot surgery, I fell and tore my calf muscle. Is it not a drag? I can't count the number of books that I've read, word games galore, etc. It's ironic, I used to wish for down time, and now, I so don't want down time!

I would LOVE some down time!!! Unfortunately, I have been employed FULL TIME through ALL of this and I'm barely making it through each day. The pain and fatigue is immense!!! I am already behind on ALL my bills AND medical bills and I can't stop working or we will lose our apartment. :(

you are a fighter secret. think of all your successes which they sound like many. your insights here on the board are invaluable.

to share in empathy, I am already OK with 2015 arriving. this was the year of the surgery as I call it; one then another then the liver enzyme thing and a biologic that will not ignite. just too much pain and too many changes. that's the empathy part.

here's the hugs part for your finding one small joy tomorrow.

Sounds like we all need to send you all the hugs-good luck charms-rabbit paws! I know sometimes it has seemed that we have this stuck black cloud over us and I have mentally had to MAKE things better for me.GOOD LUCK and feel better
